HOW TO PLAY

Start here.

YOU’LL NEEDNothing
  1. 1The first spy secretly chooses one object that both players can see. Do not choose a tiny hidden detail.
  2. 2The spy says, ‘I spy with my little eye something…’ and names the object’s color. The guesser names one visible object at a time, and the spy answers only yes or no.
  3. 3After three wrong guesses, the spy gives one more fact, such as the object’s shape, location, or use. The guesser gets up to ten guesses total.
  4. 4A correct guess scores one point for the guesser. If ten guesses pass without the answer, the spy scores one point and reveals it. Switch roles; the first player to three points wins.

REMIX THE RULES

Complete twists.

Ten-guess clockBefore each round, give the guesser exactly ten guesses. After the third and sixth wrong guesses, the spy must add one new true fact about the object without naming it. A correct answer scores one point for the guesser; if all ten guesses fail, the spy scores one point. Switch roles after every round, and the first player to three points wins.
