HOW TO PLAY

YOU’LL NEEDOne cone, ball, bandana, or other center object
  1. 1Choose a caller. Split everyone else into two equal teams behind opposite lines. Number each team from 1 upward, so each number has one player on each team. Put the object halfway between the lines.
  2. 2The caller shouts one number. Only those two players approach the object. They may pause or fake before someone grabs it.
  3. 3The player who grabs it races back to their team line. Their opponent tries to tag them first.
  4. 4Crossing the line with the object scores one point. Getting tagged first gives the opponent’s team one point. Reset and call another number.
  5. 5First team to seven points wins.

Partner stealCall two numbers from each team. After either pair grabs the object, both teammates must touch it at least once before it crosses their team line. Defenders may tag only the player currently holding it; a tag, dropped pass, or boundary violation gives the defending team the point. First team to five wins.
