HOW TO PLAY

YOU’LL NEEDOne playground, beach, or other soft ball
  1. 1Spread out in a circle and send the ball to any player with a controlled hand, arm, head, or foot touch.
  2. 2The ball may bounce once between touches, and nobody may touch twice in a row.
  3. 3Count every legal touch aloud. A second bounce, repeated player, boundary exit, catch, or hold ends the rally at its current score.
  4. 4Reset immediately after a fault. The group wins by reaching twenty touches; after a win, add one legal body part or shrink the circle and try again.

Named receiverBefore touching the ball, each player must call the name of the person who must play it next. The named player gets the normal one-bounce allowance; a second bounce, repeated receiver, or touch by anyone else ends the rally. The group wins by reaching twenty correctly named touches.
